Nina June duets with long term collaborator Lywe on new single
Dutch singer-songwriter Nina June released her stunning debut album Bon Voyage in 2018 after she spoon-fed us a long string of singles. For this album, she mostly collaborated with Lieuwe Roonder. After he produced and co-wrote with her, Nina thought it was time to get him in front of the microphone instead of behind the scenes. Under the name Lywe, he duets with her on the brand new single ‘The Change In Me’. It turns out to be a delicate piano ballad on which the two sing about a relationship in which it might be better to let each other go instead of staying together. Their vocals sound warm yet fragile and the song is heartbreaking, but also simply beautiful. I hope these two won’t stop collaborating anytime soon!
